Tissue paper is carefully hand-cut and twisted into fibres that are both resilient and fragile, serving an unexpected purpose as a conceptual art installation. Spinning thread from one’s own flesh, sewing up invisible flaws to be a better self, makes one’s soft boy resilient and strong, and stretches oneself to the fullest potential. All made from perfectly grown trees into paper pulp, some papers are designed for the arts while others are for disposable use. This particular sheet of tissue paper might not have and will not experience such care and gentle touch, such love and attention, while embracing the potential to become timeless art.

When wind is present, they become more alive. These usually understated found materials gently affixed to the wall have gradually become loose and wrinkled over time and through hand touch. Delicate strands of paper hang down, trembling ever so slightly with the slightest breath from the viewer. The viewer cannot help but hold their breath, afraid of disturbing the timidity and delight the paper arts feel in their first encounter with the world of art.

Introspection is a psychological process that involves looking inward to examine one's thoughts, emotions, judgments, and perceptions. It's something most of us engage in without giving it much thought. People reflect on one's choices, evaluate personal feelings, and try to understand oneself better. The next stage of introspection would be reflection in one's mind, where cause and effect, beginning and end will appear. The only way to understand why someone think or feel a certain way is through self-analysis or reflection.

The work portrays a state for one to weave everything a person possesses into a single thread, to self-protect while self-destruct, to reconnect with oneself and to disconnect with oneself in the same limbo. Installation view of this piece also visualize the conceptual state when an self-observer is presented with carefully controlled sensory events in their own mind. Viewing the same piece of work together, the other viewers would not ever know what someone else would thinking in similar mind set.
